So you want to know who I am, huh.

Or maybe you don’t.

But I'm assuming if you didn’t,

you probably wouldn’t be here.

So let me give you a little bit of me.

Nothing fancy.

Nothing polished.

Just the truth —the way I’d tell it

if we were sitting at my kitchen table

and the kids were finally quiet

for five whole minutes.

I’m the girl next door.

The sister who listens.

The friend who loves you

but will still tell you the truth

because I want you to win.

I’m the mom

who’s busting her tail

to make sure her kids are straight —

emotionally,

spiritually,

and with a hot meal on the table

even on the days

I’m running on fumes.

I’ve got eight kids.

Yes… you read that right.

Eight.

Eight whole individuals.

Eight whole personalities.

Eight whole people

who call me Mommy

like it’s their full‑time job.

Eight people

who always need something,

always have something to say,

and somehow always know

the exact moment

I finally sit down.

Eight kids, you say.

Am I crazy.

Hmm… probably.

But I’m also blessed.

Deeply.

Wildly.

Exhaustingly.

Beautifully blessed.

They are the rhythm

to my rhyme —

the reason I laugh,

the reason I cry,

and the reason I can never

find my charger.

And on top of that,

I’ve got three dogs

and a house full of KJW —

so trust me,

quiet is not a thing

that exists in my world.

You ask me how I keep up.

Laugh out loud.

I don’t.

I don’t mother

from a place of perfection.

I mother

from a place of grace,

from a place of trying,

from a place of

“Lord, help me make it through today

without losing my keys,

my patience,

or my mind.”

If you came here

looking for perfection,

you’re on the wrong page.

If you came here

for 12 steps to a break through

or

for a step‑by‑step guide

on how to make your life flawless,

I can't help you there either.

I’m not perfect in my mothering.

I’m not perfect in my humanity.

I’m not perfect in my faith.

I’m just a woman

doing her best

with what she’s been given —

and telling the truth about it

while I do.

I work a full‑time job.

I run a business.

I’m a new author

who just released her memoir.

And soon —

there’s a cookbook coming,

and a whole new seasoning

and bakeware line

called Catered Chaos.

Coming soon.

Coming to Amazon.

Coming wherever God decides

to open the next door.

Because that’s who I am —

a woman who takes chaos

and turns it into something sweet.

A woman who takes the mess

and turns it into meaning.

A woman who takes the overwhelm

and turns it into clarity.

A woman who takes the pressure

and turns it into creativity.

I used to own

my own in‑home cake studio

SophistiCatered Affair,

so “caking through the chaos”

is not just a cute phrase.

It’s my life.

It’s my rhythm.

It’s the way I survive

and the way I create.

I’m not perfect.

I’m not fancy.

I’m not trying to be anything

other than a woman

doing her best

with what God has given.

And if you’re here,

I already know

you’re doing the same.

So come walk with me, sis.

Bring your coffee,

your chaos,

your tired days,

your big dreams,

your undone laundry,

your broken pieces

your “Lord, help me” moments,

and your whole beautiful self.

We’re figuring this out together —

one breath,

one step,

one honest truth

at a time.
